The changing face of materials technology

As you may be aware Sigma-Aldrich Corporation acquired the Epichem Group to expand its SAFC® materials science offering. In July the name for the legacy Epichem and legacy Sigma-Aldrich operations that have now been combined was launched as SAFC Hitech™. At that stage the legal status of all companies did not change as this was a marketing drive focussed on customer awareness. The integration of the legacy Epichem operation has now progressed to a stage where the company name required updating to fit in with the newly launched rebranding of the SAFC Hitech™ Division.

From October 01, 2007 the name of the company Epichem Limited has changed to SAFC Hitech™ Limited.
